Initiates a charge against the caller's credit balance for SDK usage.

/sdk/charge

Validates the author key and caller, checks available balance minus any active escrow holds, and then either:

  • Escrows the requested amount for ChargeType.Variable charges (no immediate debit).
  • Creates and processes a debit transaction immediately for fixed charges, and schedules wallet updates via SQS.

On failure (e.g., missing author key, insufficient credits), persists a failed transaction and an error record.
